About Laser World of Photonics 

Held every two years in Munich, the Laser World of Photonics is the leading trade fair for lasers and photonics. It takes place alongside the World of Photonics Congress, Europe's largest event of its kind. Since 2023, the event has also coincided with World of Quantum and automatica, the leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics.

The World of Photonics Congress program consists of five scientific conferences organised by leading global organisations, offering researchers an extensive insight into the future with around 3,000 presentations, invited talks, keynote speeches, poster sessions and plenary lectures. Topics range from basic and applied scientific research to the latest laser and photonics applications in industry and medicine.

Showcasing the latest milestones in photonics research alongside a comprehensive industry showcase, this concept enables visitors to experience the unique intersection of science, innovative technologies, and industrial applications.

The next World of Photonics Congress will take place from 20–25 June 2027 at the ICM, International Congress Center München.

The parallel trade fairs Laser World of Photonics, World of Quantum and automatica will take place from 22–25 June 2027 in the exhibition halls of Messe München.
