FLOW-3D is a software package for the numerical simulation of fluid flow (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD). The specialized version FLOW-3D WELD was developed specifically for laser welding processes and also supports simulations of additive manufacturing technologies such as Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) and Directed Energy Deposition (DED).
