Civan Lasers Europe GmbH in Hannover is the German subsidiary of Jerusalem-based Civan Advanced Technologies LTD and serves as the central experience and service hub for Europe. The Application Lab specializes in laser welding with high-power fiber lasers based on Coherent Beam Combining (CBC) technology. As the first company to successfully apply CBC to high-power applications, Civan offers Dynamic Beam Shaping that can change shape, position, and focal distance at 50 MHz. This technology provides unprecedented control of the melt pool, enabling the welding of challenging or dissimilar metals and complex geometries while significantly increasing the speed and quality of more common welds.
