Sill Optics is one of the few medium-sized companies in Germany, which is specialized in the production of optical components of highest quality. Our philosophy is: “100% Made in Germany”. Since the foundation in 1894 in Nuremberg enormous technical skills, considerable knowledge of manufacturing, as well as significant production flexibility has been achieved. Furthermore Sill invests continuously in latest production and testing technology. "Precision" is not a slogan only: Our quality system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 1996.

In-house production:
Our company currently employs more than 240 people.
A 100% inspection by qualified personnel with latest measurement systems ensures high quality of our lenses after production, coating and assembly processes.

Customized optics:

Our own optical R&D enables us to design optical and mechanical components optimized for the applications of our customers. Prototypes are available on short notice.

Optics for laser applications:

Our product range includes focusing lenses as well as beam expanders, standard scan lenses and a variety of telecentric scan lenses. These lenses are primarily optimized for wavelengths between 266 nm and 1090 nm.

Aspheres:

The capability of the our MRF machines enables production of aspheric surfaces from 15 mm to 180 mm diameter and aspheric radii from -100 mm concave to +10 mm convex. A choice of precision aspheres with a diameter of 25 to 52mm and a focal length from 20 mm to 400 mm is available as standard.

Imaging Lenses for Machine Vision Application: :

We offer various lenses for production inspection, medical technology and optical measurement. Thereby we are specialized in standard and customized telecentric lenses.
