Mission of JLPS Activities
Japan Laser Processing Society (JLPS) is a non-profit professional organization for support to scientists, researchers and engineers with the objectives of
developing both "laser science" and "production technology". Our mission is to foster laser scientists, researchers, engineers and users for lasers and laser applications by offering or
exchanging seeds research results in universities and research institutes and needs in the industrial fields.
Publications
Conferences
Domestic conference, JLPS Laser Materials Processing Conference is held twice a year in Japan (mainly in Osaka and Tokyo).
LPM – International Symposium on Laser Precision Microfabrication
LPM is an annual event and is alternately held in Japan and in other host countries to provide a forum for research and technology development in the area of laser micro/nanofabrication.
LAMP – International Congress on Laser Advanced Materials Processing
LAMP deals with science and technology of advanced laser materials processing covering precision micro-fabrication and high power laser processing. LAMP consists of International Symposia on Laser Precision Microfabrication (LPM) and High Power Laser Processing (HPL). LAMP is basically held every four years.
SLPC – Smart Laser Processing Conference
Laser beam processing has been played an important role in industrial fields of not only macro-products but also micro-products, and its technologies are essential to open the new strategies of smart manufacturing process. SLPC deals with science and technology of smart laser materials processing including micro and macro laser processing. During the conference, Optics and Photonics International Exhibition is held jointly at the conference site.
